Kiggavik & Scissons

Exploration has been ongoing for over 30 years, approximately 80 kilometres west of Baker Lake, Nunavut. AREVA operates a public information office in Baker Lake that continues to evaluate the projects viability while engaging the local people. A small camp operates in the summer months in the arctic tundra, where AREVA employees, including local contractors, monitor the environment, wildlife, and biodiversity.
